It has now been more than 40 years since the founding of the Ocean Exposition Commemorative Park Management Foundation, the predecessor to Okinawa Churashima Foundation, in 1976. We have maintained our commitment to contribute to society by pursuing the satisfaction of our customers who come to our parks and facilities we manage, while continuing to conduct studies and research on Okinawa’s natural environment and organisms.

As a subtropical area, Okinawa has a unique ecosystem, and boasts a rare environment that maintains biodiversity both in the ocean and on land. Okinawa has also passed on and developed a unique culture and history from the Ryukyu Kingdom era. As an organization supported by this fantastic environment called Okinawa, we enthusiastically fulfill our social responsibilities and contribute through our business to make a sustainable society a reality.

In recent years, we have been promoting reduction of environmental loads by promoting maintenance and protection of the natural environment, plants, and animals and introducing an environment management system (ISO 14001).
